Anti-Smog Guns in Lahore to Combat Air Pollution: Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online): In a groundbreaking move to fight air pollution, the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has officially launched anti-smog guns in Lahore. This is the first time in Punjab’s history that such modern technology is being used to tackle the increasing problem of smog.
A New Era Begins in the Fight Against Smog
As smog continues to affect the air quality and public health in Lahore and other cities, the Punjab government has stepped up with a smart and modern solution. The launch of anti-smog guns marks a new chapter in Punjab’s environmental efforts. These high-tech machines are now being deployed in various parts of Lahore as part of a larger mission to improve air quality.
How Anti-Smog Guns Clean the Air
Anti-smog guns are machines that spray fine water droplets into the air. These tiny droplets help to clean the air by capturing dust, pollution, and harmful particles, making the air safer to breathe. This technology has already been used successfully in countries like China and India, and now Punjab joins the list.
The water spray from the gun can reach up to 100 meters into the air, making it highly effective for urban areas with heavy traffic and industrial pollution.
Smart Technology with AI-Powered Weather System
What makes this initiative even more advanced is the use of a modern weather system connected with Artificial Intelligence (AI). This smart system helps monitor the air quality in real time and checks how effective the anti-smog guns are in different weather conditions. Locally Made – Supporting Local Innovation
A total of 15 anti-smog guns have been manufactured locally in Pakistan, showcasing the potential of local engineering and innovation. In addition, 5 more units are currently being prepared and will be added to the system soon. This local production not only reduces costs but also encourages the development of home-grown technology.
Water Purification System for Clean Spraying
Each anti-smog gun is connected to a 16,000-liter water tank and includes a water purification system. This ensures that only clean water is sprayed into the air, avoiding any health risks or secondary pollution.
This combination of large capacity and purification makes the anti-smog gun a powerful tool in the fight against air pollution.
