Rajanpur’s Kachha Areas Face Rising Indus Water Levels

In Rajanpur, the floodwaters from the Indus River are rapidly affecting the low-lying Kachha areas, where water levels are on the rise. These regions are highly vulnerable due to their geography and lack of strong flood defenses.

As a result, local authorities have begun shifting people to safer locations. Relief camps are being set up, and food, clean water, and medical aid are being provided to the affected families. However, the growing scale of the disaster requires continuous monitoring and support.

Emergency services, health departments, and disaster management teams have been put on high alert. The government is also working with district administrations to ensure relief goods and essential supplies reach those in need without delay.
