Private Hajj Scheme
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that only four days are left for booking under the Private Hajj Scheme. Out of the total 60,000 seats allocated to private operators, 44,000 have already been booked, while 16,000 seats are still available.
With the deadline fast approaching, prospective pilgrims are urged to act quickly and complete their bookings before the final date. There will be no extension to the booking period as per the Saudi Ministry of Hajj’s directives.
Current Status of Hajj Bookings
Bookings under the Private Hajj Scheme began on September 19, and in just 25 days, private Hajj operators have successfully booked around 23,000 pilgrims. This is in addition to the 21,000+ already booked earlier, bringing the total to 44,000 pilgrims as of now.
There are now 16,000 seats still open, and the remaining four days are crucial for those who still wish to secure a place for Hajj under the private quota.

Strict Deadline with No Extensions
According to official instructions from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, the deadline for private Hajj bookings cannot be extended under any circumstances. In line with this, Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued written instructions to all authorized private Hajj operators to speed up the booking process.
Pilgrims and Hajj organizers are strongly advised to avoid last-minute delays, as the booking portal will close after the deadline. And no new applications will be entertained beyond the given period.
Leftover Pilgrims from Last Year to Go Next Year
In a related development, the Ministry has also confirmed that 21,654 pilgrims who were unable to perform Hajj last year under the private scheme will be accommodated in the next Hajj season (2026). This decision brings clarity and relief to those waiting since last year.
Advice for Prospective Pilgrims
Those who still wish to perform Hajj under the Private Hajj Scheme should immediately:
- Contact their nearest authorized private Hajj operator
- Complete all necessary documentation
- Make payments before the deadline
- Verify operators through the official Ministry list to avoid fraud
With thousands already booked and only days left, time is running out quickly. The remaining 16,000 seats are likely to fill fast
